Sydney Teleport Services Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated company based at its teleport facility in Sydney NSW. This facility is staffed 24/7 by experienced Master Control Room operational staff with full engineering and ICT support. STS employs 24 fulltime staff with access to a large pool of freelance MCR and SNG experts.
Sydney Teleport Services has been in full time operation since 2004. During this time, it has built up a reputation within the broadcast industry of providing professional and cost effective broadcast solutions. These include MCR services, fibre backhaul, DTH, downlink, encoding, Vsat for Maritime & Transport for NSW, uplink and mobile SNG services (Satellite News Gathering). These services are provided both as permanent fulltime and ad hoc as required.
STS has developed relationships with broadcasters from around the world in providing teleport and mobile SNG services. Each year STS has had excellent growth and has established itself as a ‘one stop shop’ for many broadcasters.
STS supports and operates Australian PoP services (Video & Data) for Level3 Communications, EBU/Eurovision, BT Media, Intelsat and Tata Communications.
STS operates and maintains its own International Video & Data Contribution Platform which covers Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, Europe and Middle East.
